Here's a little snapshot of what I'm up to these days.

🧠 What I'm Focusing On

  • Diving deep into Java, with the goal of learning Spring to build cool backend projects.
  • Learning about server security and working on a personal project to build a malware detection tool for Linux.
  • Getting more and more into Docker for almost all of my self-hosted projects.

šŸ‘Øā€šŸ« Sharing What I Know

I'm no longer teaching my Linux class, but I'm planning to start recording online courses about Linux and server security soon. I love sharing what I've learned, so keep an eye out for those! In the meantime, I'll be writing articles and sharing what I discover here on my blog.

ā¤ļø Life Beyond the Screen

Life isn't all about code and servers, though. I split my time between Germany and my childhood village of Rabah in Syria. I love going back home to see my family and friends – it's a feeling I really miss when I'm in Germany.

When I'm not traveling, you can usually find me at the gym, going for a drive, or just taking a daily walk to clear my head. In the evenings, I like to relax and watch something with my parents.

I've been dealing with some pain in my arm and fingers from typing so much, but I'm working on getting that sorted out.

That's me right now! Thanks for reading.
